another slacking day at home.. was worried in the morning cos results are out today!! arrr so scary.. typed in my userid n password then struggled for like 30 mins before pressing login. very hum ji.. heez wells the results are not tat bad afterall. had some improvement from last sem! =) i can finally put down the big big burden.. cos i dreamt of very bad results 2 nights ago =x

then, since my mood got much better.. i made my favourite fruit salad!! it's so yummyyy haha. there're lots of ingredients like canned mix fruits, pineapple slices, fresh apples n fresh pears and most imptly the mayo and some condensed milk! the condensed milk makes the salad sweeter n nicer!! =D

tons of assay kit instruction booklets are queuing up for me to read them.. but no mood to read.. den after reading, i still have to write down the steps n send back to my mentor =( my whole month of june will be super free! wanna find some part time but 1 mth seemed too short for anyone to employ me.. sian. so i've decided to do some volunteer work!! just sent in the volunteer application to ymca lol. hope can do something meaningful within this month.. it's been so long since i do volunteer work.. since uni yr 1? cos tq clashed with my regular weekend home visits to the intellectually disabled home.. so i had to give up the home visits =( kinda miss them actually. erm.. anyone wanna go do volunteer work together? =D

really need to have something to occupy my time.. the boredom is overwhelming..
i think by now my darlings would have reached their hostel.. maybe they started shopping already!!

woke up very early this morning to go sch to meet the phd student n my lab officer. it's been such a long time since i wake up at such early hours, squeezing mrt with the working crowd. cant help but fell asleep in the mrt agn.. my usual practice haha.. oh my way to sch, met ruoya.. so qiao and we're even working in the same dept and same MD11 and same floor somemore. wil be seeing her quite often ard lab n during proj heez..

discussed little bit of what i will be doing for my fyp with my mentors.. the phd student vidu, a rather nice lady, said i will be helping her with the feeding.. i'm going to be a pet owner cum nurse soon!! muhahaha... cos i will be feeding medicine (2- 3 times per day) to 19 rats, taking their body weight, their water n food intake daily.. then once every week, need to put them to a glucose challenge.. that will be when i have to cut lightly on their tails with a blade to collect blood. i'm sorry my pets... *sob* but then i cant work on them yet cos they just migrated from japan.. and had to be quarantined in the AHU for 6-8weeks.. so i need to wait till july then can see them.. tat's good! more time for me to mentally prepare myself.. i will be seeing them everyday in july! (yes! 30days!) a bit scared la. =x very sad. after 30 days, we have to kill them to take their liver, kidneys, heart n pancreas out for further examinations.. i'm sorry my rats.. poor thing. u all are angels cos u all sacrificed for the society! =x

Ohh.. who wan to keep a fat, cute and guai pet.. can inform me! grace, i reserved one for u liao. it'll be named 'durian' as wat u wanted haha.. erm.. but then angie told me cannot give names to them.. if not i will get attached to them, and when i have to kill them i will be super super sad.. haiz i dunno also.. i think even if i dun give names, also feel sad after seeing them daily for a mth.

after gg to sch, went tm with angie to shop shop.. and i got a new shorts yayyy!! and angie got her new pair of covered shoes.. nice nice! =) my darlingss are gg hk tmr alr.. will be missing them so much. enjoy ur trip! if only my mentor tell me earlier that i only get to work in july.. i would be there packing my luggage n ready to go for holi alr.. sigh. nvm. next time lor

baked some muffins for my og today.. so happy that it turned out rather nice hehe.. shd proceed on to try on new pastry soon like strawberry cream cake or pies or puffs. my darling hx, i will remember my promise for ur triple choco + oozing warm choco fudge cake. haha.
then went for aztec outing for grace n yiki's bday at imperial treasure la mian restaurant at suntec. and thanks jiaying for the nice nice cheesecake! =) our og is full of baking talents lol.













then we walked from suntec to a dessert place at bugis. the usual dessert place after outing haha.. along the way, i saw the building. silly ideas run in my mind. sweetcorn, tell me how.. as the days pass by, i thought i'm fine. but am i?

so happy!! bought 2 tops and a belt hehe and i wan to buy more!!
it was a nice afternoon with peipei =) it's been a long time since we go out cos of our busy schedules and we really have to grab the chances to meet now since u'll be working very very soon! had our lunch at bugis then shopped for 2 hrs there but didnt manage to find anything we like.. so we travelled to orchard to continue our shopping hehe.. and finally i had some buys.. but peipei still didnt manage to find anything she want.. poor thing. i think we're both very choosy. tat's why it's so difficult to get sth! =p

my besties are going hk for holiday this coming thurs till next tue.. aww so sad.. i will be alone in spore. will be so bored without them =( i think i will either turn to a freaky scientist in the lab or a zai nv again.. my dears, pls get me some nice clothes there k!! haha.. and pls dun miss me too much over there.. enjoy urselves there with the nice nice food n shopping n sightseeing! =)
